Welcome to Pawd! These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pawd iOS application and related services. By using Pawd, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What Pawd Is
Pawd is a native iOS client application that connects to your self-hosted OpenClaw instance. Pawd does not provide AI models, servers, or cloud infrastructure. You are responsible for your own OpenClaw deployment and any associated costs (e.g., API usage, hosting fees).
Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country that allows you to use online services) to use Pawd.
- By using Pawd, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into these Terms, either on your own behalf or on behalf of your organization.
Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OpenClaw server credentials and any API keys used with Pawd.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your use of the app.
- Pawd does not store your credentials on our infrastructure. All authentication data is stored locally on your device.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Pawd only for lawful purposes and not to:
- Misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app.
- Use Pawd to facilitate illegal activity through your AI agents.
- Attempt to circumvent any security measures within the app.
- Violate applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
Your Data
- Your data is yours. Pawd does not claim ownership of any content, conversations, agent configurations, or data processed through the app.
- All data flows directly between Pawd on your device and your OpenClaw instance. We do not intercept, store, or process this data.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI models through OpenClaw complies with the respective model providers' terms of service.
Pricing and Payments
- Pawd is free to download and use.
- You pay only for your own API usage and server costs through your OpenClaw instance. Pawd does not charge subscriptions.
- Any in-app purchases (if offered) are processed through Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms.
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.
OpenClaw and Third Parties
- Pawd connects to OpenClaw, an open-source self-hosted AI assistant framework. Your use of OpenClaw is governed by its own license and terms.
- AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) have their own terms. You are responsible for compliance with those terms.
- Pawd is not responsible for the availability, security, or functionality of your OpenClaw instance or any third-party services.
Security and Privacy
- Pawd is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not operate servers or databases that store your data.
- Our handling of any personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for securing your OpenClaw instance, including using HTTPS and strong authentication.
Service Availability
- Pawd is provided as a client application. Its functionality depends on the availability of your OpenClaw instance.
- We may release updates, add features, or modify the app at any time.
- We are not liable for issues arising from your OpenClaw server configuration, network conditions, or third-party API outages.
Termination
- You may stop using Pawd and delete the app at any time.
- We may terminate or restrict access to the app if you violate these Terms.
- Your data remains on your device and your OpenClaw instance regardless of whether you continue using Pawd.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Pawd is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- AI responses generated through your OpenClaw instance will be accurate or appropriate.
- The app will be compatible with all OpenClaw configurations.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Pawd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost data, business interruptions, or costs incurred through API usage).
- Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the app or on our website. Continued use of Pawd after updates means you accept the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
